The Dudley T Shirt is a basic, loose fitting knit T shirt top, suitable for boys and girls. The fit is generous in length and width and the sleeve can be adjusted to a short or three-quarter length. The neck and cuffs have a narrow rib binding. The pattern includes two very easy appliqué designs that can be sewn on with a simple zigzag stitch. To make your own unique design the basic pattern can be altered to have panels any way you like them, a yoke and a pocket can be added. Mix and match different fabrics for a fun result. Use cotton interlock to make a cosy, comfy pyjama top.

SIZES: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12 to fit children 9 months to 12 years old. International sizing; size relates to age e.g size 2 = 2 year old child. Size chart with measurements in centimetres and inches is included in the pattern file.

EXPERIENCE: Novice with some experience sewing knitted fabrics. The sewing tutorial shows you step by step how to sew the top.

FABRIC: The pattern is designed for minimal stretch knit fabrics. The most suitable knits include cotton single knit, interlock, French terry knit and fleecy. Choose a fabric weight to suit the season. For best results avoid using very stretchy knitted fabrics e.g. lycra/spandex and similar fabrics. Not suitable for woven fabric.
