Sizes: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 to fit children 2 to 12 years old. Always check the size chart for your correct size, chest and height measurements are the best guide. A size chart in centimeters and inches is included in the pattern.
Fabrics: Lightweight woven fabrics and minimal stretch knit fabrics are the most suitable --- poplin, lawn, linen, fuji rayon, homespun and cotton single knit jersey or similar fabrics. For ease of handling and to minimize fraying choose fabrics with a close weave e.g. poplin, homespun or knit. Very stretchy knits are not suitable for this style.
Experience: you will need to have advanced beginner to intermediate sewing skills to make this shirt. The shirt requires plain sewing only with neat and accurate seaming; there are no buttonholes.
